All these questions and more will be answered soon enough as we get set for another loaded month of sports on Balls: Home of the biggest sporting events in the world.

UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort

Rua. Jackson. Machida. Evans.

These are the names that have already been added to the list of Jon Jones’ victims inside the Octagon since March 19, 2011, when he became the youngest champion in UFC history at age 23.

Henderson was supposed to be next on that list. But, due to his unfortunate injury, another legend has resurfaced in an attempt to end Jones’ remarkable rise to the top.

Enter Vitor Belfort. The original “Phenom” of the UFC. A man who was once regarded as the most feared striker inside the Octagon. He may already be 35 years old, but the Brazilian finished his last two opponents in the first round.

“I’m 100%. I’m strong and healthy. Free from sickness and disease. I’m ready,” said the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion in an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.

“It’s going to be the ‘Old Lion’ against the ‘Young Lion’. I’m going to fight the champ like a champ.”

At the end of the interview, Belfort took a jab at Jones.

“I’m not a diva. I’m a legend.”

Because he turned down an unexpected title defense against Sonnen, Jones has been dealing with a lot of criticism from fans and fellow fighters as well. But, the Jones camp has kept their silence and has focused their attention on training hard for a successful 4th title defense of Jones’ UFC Light Heavyweight title.

In another historic development, a pair of talented 125 pound warriors, Joseph Benavides and Demetrious Johnson will go to war for the inaugural UFC Flyweight Championship.
